Support bring-up, PCB rework, and debug for GPU-based compute platforms and AI data center systems.

About the role

This role provides electronics, PCB, and discrete component support for GPU-based compute platforms in an onsite engineering lab. You will support hardware, systems, and infrastructure teams enabling AI data center systems, servers, and GPUs.

What you'll do

- Install and maintain PCBs, including rework and replacement soldering of discrete hardware components and circuit testing for AI servers and GPU platforms. - Perform bring-up and debug of server hardware components, PCBs, GPUs, and interconnects. - Execute hardware modifications, including cable routing, component installation (GPUs, NICs, memory, storage, accelerators), and test point probing and signal measurements. - Diagnose and troubleshoot power, thermal, cooling, PCIe errors, GPU detection issues, shorts, damaged PCBs, and marginal components. - Support failure analysis, root-cause investigations, rack builds, rework, and audits while maintaining test and configuration documentation.

What you'll need

- Associate degree or trade education certification in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - Hands-on experience working with hardware, PCBs, and discrete components, including soldering, removal, repair, and replacement. - Experience with lab electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), power supplies, and digital or impedance analyzers. - Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex server electronics, discrete components, circuits, and GPU issues in lab or data center ESD environments. - Understanding of fundamentals of electronics, circuitry, schematics, BOMs, and hardware debug documentation.

Nice to have

- Experience with liquid-cooled or hybrid-cooled server systems and high-power GPU racks (multi-kW per rack). - Prior work in hyperscale data centers, engineering labs, or NPI environments supporting AI platforms in the semiconductor industry. - Strong understanding of power delivery, cooling, airflow in high-density systems, PCIe, and high-speed interconnects. - Experience using logic analyzers.

Skills: AI data center systems, GPU-based compute platforms, system bring-up, server hardware validation, PCIe troubleshooting, lab environment
