This role involves the development of power distribution solutions and safety circuitry for building systems, spanning from AC medium voltage to DC lower voltage. The position focuses on hardware development for multiple concurrent instrument projects from concept through production release.
What you'll do
- Develop power distribution solutions and safety circuitry for building systems.
- Plan and execute hardware development for multiple concurrent instrument projects.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to develop architectures, system designs, and specifications.
- Design and review SOLIDWORKS electrical drawings.
- Select appropriate hardware to meet safety and system requirements.
- Design cable harnesses for system functionality.
What you'll need
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering with at least 3+ years of experience in system design or M.S. with 1+ years.
- Experience in developing System manufacturing and testing equipment.
- Knowledge of electrical codes (Semi S2 and S8, NFPA, NEC).
- Previous Automation experience.
- Understand network, subnets and IP assignment.
