About the role
This role involves evaluating the technical requirements of new and existing products and ensuring the integrity of engineering drawing requirements for new product development. The focus is on materials science and engineering solutions for semiconductor chips and advanced displays.
What you'll do
- Evaluate technical requirements of new and existing products and recommend materials to Design Engineering and Applied Global Services.
- Work with New Product Development teams to ensure integrity and clarity of engineering drawing requirements for suppliers.
- Participate in New Product Introduction teams to promote design for manufacturability with suppliers.
- Continuously involve in the Supplier Selection Process to develop a competitive supply base.
- Lead the supplier technical audit process, evaluate supplier performance, and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead quality problem resolutions and incident management, driving root cause and correction action.
What you'll need
- Demonstrates strong semiconductor equipment product and services knowledge.
- Demonstrates depth and/or breadth of expertise in specialized discipline or field.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 7 - 10 Years of Experience.
