About the role
This role involves designing and developing electronic solutions for advanced applications in the Global Products Group, contributing directly to Lam's mechatronics team. Responsibilities span 70% product design and 30% product management across etch and deposition products.
What you'll do
- Lead the development of electronics used in wireless sensor devices and wafer handling robot control and power boards. - Develop new PCBA test plans and perform board bring up. - Serve as a subject matter expert and guide other engineers through the design process. - Design and analyze equipment, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.
What you'll need
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering. - Minimum 5-7 years industrial experience in electronics board and schematics design process. - Fundamental knowledge of electronic circuit design principles, ADC, op-amps, battery management, and power management. - Experience with inter-device communication protocols, including SPI, I2C, and UART.
Nice to have
- Experience with wireless and Bluetooth implementation. - Mechatronics and robotics experience. - Experience in the semiconductor industry or related field.
