About the role
This role involves designing and developing electronic solutions for advanced applications, focusing on the design and engineering of Lam's etch and deposition products.
What you'll do
- Design and develop electronic parts, modules, and/or systems, applying engineering methods.
- Contribute to research and development efforts by establishing operating data to improve electrical system designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering design teams to design and modify custom and OEM system components.
- Perform hands-on test and validation utilizing lab equipment to characterize the performance of electrical/electro-mechanical systems.
- Prepare high-quality reports and technical presentations to communicate design intent, analysis, and results.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Hands-on experience in electronic circuit design (analog, digital), signal and controls theory, development, electrical board design, troubleshooting, and validation.
- Familiarity with CAD tools for circuit design and simulation (e.g., PCAD, ORCAD, ZUKEN, AutoCAD, Spice, ADS, HFSS).
Nice to have
- Knowledge in application of power and controls technologies for systems automation.
- Familiarity with design for serviceability, manufacturability, and reliability.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting systems with tools like network sniffers, protocol analyzers, and tool logs.
