About the role
This role involves supporting and improving Linux-based servers, storage systems, and related infrastructure that enable semiconductor design and engineering activities. You will gain hands-on experience with Linux, servers, storage, and enterprise infrastructure operations, acting as a key bridge between local teams in Japan and global infrastructure organizations.
What you'll do
- Support and improve Linux-based servers, storage systems, and related infrastructure.
- Resolve technical and operational challenges with engineering teams, infrastructure specialists, and external partners.
- Contribute to the transition, standardization, and continuous improvement of EDA infrastructure operations.
- Collaborate with local users, infrastructure teams, vendors, and hardware resellers.
- Communicate operational status, issues, and action plans in Japanese and English.
- Support hardware quotations, investment requests, and procurement processes.
What you'll need
- Ability to work onsite at the Musashi site.
- Hands-on experience in Linux/Unix server administration, operations, or troubleshooting.
- Fundamental knowledge of servers, storage systems, and related infrastructure technologies.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and understand English/Japanese emails and technical documentation.
