About the role
This role is responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and monitoring semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment supporting Photo, Etch, Cleans, Metrology, or Films.
What you'll do
- Maintain, upgrade, and monitor wafer fabrication equipment across Photo, Etch, Cleans, Metrology, or Films toolsets. - Identify and reduce variation in process and tool performance to increase production capacity. - Define Out of Control Action Plans and implement Six-Sigma statistical process control methods. - Support defectivity and scrap reduction efforts while improving tool availability, throughput, and reducing Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF). - Specify, source, and qualify new equipment, alternate parts, and develop written specifications. - Train technicians and peers while collaborating in a 24x7 manufacturing facility.
What you'll need
- BS or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or another technical field. - At least 2 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing supporting equipment. - Ability to obtain and maintain an Export Control Clearance. - Demonstrated ability to generate, analyze, and interpret equipment and process performance data to resolve recurring failures. - Experience reducing Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and improving tool reliability and availability. - Experience with Six-Sigma statistical process control methods and working in a 24x7 manufacturing facility.
