About the role
As an ECAD PCB Tools Developer, you will develop tools that enable PCB electrical design, physical layout, and SI capabilities for system designers across the company. The role focuses on delivering EDA and ECAD solutions centered on Cadence System Capture and SPB Allegro Layout.
What you'll do
- Join an agile, multi-functional EDA software development team. - Develop tools that enable PCB electrical design, physical layout, and SI capabilities for system designers across the organization. - Assess requirements from the design community to build solutions that improve internal tools and processes.
What you'll need
- BS in CS, CE, EE, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - 8+ years of industry experience, including 3+ years of CAD/PCB tools experience. - Experience delivering EDA / ECAD tools around Cadence System Capture and SPB Allegro Layout. - Experience with system design and hierarchical sub-design. - Familiarity with automation within Windows and Linux operating systems. - Experience with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or MongoDB. - Proficiency in Python.
