About the role
This role involves interfacing with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure issues are resolved, and providing process and product support to the organization.
What you'll do
- Perform technical tests and experiments in the wafer fabrication area
- Monitor, audit, and guide line operators on product handling
- Test new products and provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel
- Address production concerns and disposition production material
What you'll need
- High School diploma/GED
- 18 years of age or older
- 2 years of semiconductor experience as a Technician OR 8 years of non-semiconductor/military Technician experience
- Ability to work 12-hour compressed work schedule
Nice to have
- Ability to identify, multi-task, and resolve multiple priority issues quickly and efficiently to improve overall fab performance
- Ability to learn and understand process flow quickly, and support the engineering organization as needed
- Proficient with MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to quickly ramp on new tools and processes
