About the role
Texas Instruments is seeking an experienced Thinfilm Process Technician to support wafer fabrication clean room operations on a night shift schedule. This role interfaces with engineering and manufacturing teams across the fab to resolve production issues, provide process support, and handle material disposition.
What you'll do
- Perform technical tests and experiments for engineering in the wafer fabrication area. - Monitor, audit, and provide guidance to line operators once product is on the line. - Test new products and provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel. - Interface and communicate with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to solve issues. - Address production concerns and handle disposition of production material.
What you'll need
- High School diploma or GED. - 18 years of age or older. - Either 4 years of semiconductor experience as a Process Technician OR 8 years of non-semiconductor/military Technician experience. - Ability to work a 12-hour compressed work schedule. - Flexibility to work day or night shifts including one weekend shift and holidays.
Nice to have
- Experience as a Process Technician in Thinfilm. - Troubleshooting skills on electrical and mechanical systems. - Proficiency with MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
