About the role
SiTime is seeking a Director, Test Engineering to lead a team and drive the development of production test solutions for precision timing products. The role partners cross-functionally and with manufacturing partners to develop production systems for semiconductor MEMS programmable devices.
What you'll do
- Lead a geographically diverse engineering team developing test and automation solutions. - Define test strategies and roadmaps, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. - Drive cross-functional workflow improvements including automation, simulation, and AI. - Provide technical oversight and strategic guidance while deep diving to solve technical challenges. - Collaborate cross-functionally to drive new product development and introduction activities. - Work with manufacturing partners to develop optimized production systems.
What you'll need
- Minimum MS Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. - Minimum 8 years of related work experience, including experience as a technical leader. - Background in semiconductor test development for high-volume mixed-signal ICs. - Hands-on knowledge and experience with analog electronics. - Experience with test software development using C++ or similar languages. - Ability to analyze and interpret test data, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. - Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 10 lbs.
Nice to have
- Prior experience with timing ICs, such as clock buffers, clock generators, and PLLs. - Experience improving workflows using automation and AI.
