About the role

AMD is searching for a Director to engage directly with businesses and navigate AI infrastructure programs from inception to delivery.

What you'll do

- Oversee the delivery of project tasks, activities, milestones, and resources across groups and organizations. - Analyze project risks, develop comprehensive risk management plans, and ease subsequent issues. - Develop, maintain, and manage project requirements, plans, timelines, issues, and challenges. - Support business owners in driving major programs, collaborating with process owners to implement business changes. - Manage large-scale programs and complex projects involving numerous stakeholders with diverse plans and business priorities. - Lead large, cross-functional project teams toward timely outcomes.

What you'll need

- Technical expertise in AI and experience managing complex AI projects. - Broad knowledge of AI technology, algorithms, and tools. - Demonstrated experience in program management, risk management, project requirements, and timelines. - Strong track record of leading large, cross-functional project teams.

Nice to have

- BS, MS, or equivalent with direct experience. - Experience managing cross-functional and cross-team projects and interpreting user feedback into roadmaps. - Hands-on technical background in AI solutions with experience collaborating directly with engineering teams. - Experience working with outside vendors and executive-level communication.
