About the role

This role focuses on technology and product roadmap development for the Advanced Components Business Unit (ACBU) within the Optical Components Business Group. The position manages a differentiated component product line and engages with customers across Development, Product Engineering, and Sales teams.

What you'll do

- Manage and develop a differentiated component product line for the Advanced Components Business Unit. - Work with the GM and Group-level Sales team to expand markets and define technology and product roadmaps for new applications. - Engage with customers to support product requirements across platforms in the Optical Components Business Group. - Lead project teams as the focal point to achieve critical milestones, cost targets, and product requirements. - Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across global sites, mentoring junior PLM team members.

What you'll need

- MSc in an Engineering-related discipline. - 5+ years of experience in product marketing or product development positions. - Technical experience in micro-optics technology. - Technical understanding of the optical communication market segment and optics attributes. - Ability to travel internationally on a regular basis.

Nice to have

- PhD or MBA.
