Join the Custom & PCB Group to guide product strategy and go-to-market for custom and analog design solutions anchored by the Virtuoso platform.

About the role

Cadence is seeking a Director, Product Management to own the strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market for a product line within the Custom & PCB Group's (CPG) custom and analog design portfolio. The product portfolio sits within the custom, analog, RF, and mixed-signal design solutions anchored by the Virtuoso platform.

What you'll do

- Build credible relationships with senior analog and custom circuit designers and their leadership to understand design challenges and drive adoption of Cadence solutions. - Set the vision, strategy, multi-year roadmap, detailed requirements, and release priorities for the product line based on direct customer and market feedback. - Own product positioning, messaging, technical value narrative, and go-to-market execution to equip sales and field teams. - Lead customer engagements, business development, and pricing/packaging definitions to drive adoption, pipeline, and revenue across strategic accounts. - Continuously monitor the analog, mixed-signal, and semiconductor design landscape to guide product and positioning decisions. - Align R&D, sales, and marketing around a unified plan, and hire, coach, and develop product managers as the team scales.

What you'll need

- Deep, hands-on understanding of analog and mixed-signal circuit design, including circuit topologies, device-level design, sizing and biasing, layout and parasitics, PVT and corner behavior, and verification methodology. - 10+ years in the semiconductor / EDA industry, including 5+ years in product management, product marketing, or product-line ownership. - Demonstrated ownership of a product or product line across roadmaps, requirements, pricing/packaging, and go-to-market with accountability for adoption and revenue. - Proven ability to communicate credibly with and influence expert analog circuit design engineers. - BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Nice to have

- Hands-on analog or mixed-signal circuit design experience earlier in your career designing, simulating, or laying out analog circuits. - Familiarity with the Virtuoso custom/analog ecosystem and the broader custom IC design flow. - Experience with AI/ML-assisted design tools and modern design-productivity approaches. - Experience with EDA or software commercial models, including subscription, term, and consumption-based licensing. - Prior people-management experience building and coaching a product management team. - MBA or equivalent commercial experience, or an MSEE with an analog / mixed-signal specialization.
