About the role
Build and lead the global Design Enablement organization responsible for CAD infrastructure, design support, EDA methodologies, Process Design Kit (PDK) automation, licensing management, and engineering productivity initiatives. The role oversees worldwide engineering teams supporting analog, mixed-signal, power, BCD, and high-voltage technologies from technology onboarding through production tape-out.
What you'll do
- Define and execute the corporate design enablement strategy, CAD roadmaps, EDA methodologies, and PDK automation workflows. - Lead the deployment, qualification, support, and optimization of enterprise EDA environments, compute infrastructure, and license server frameworks. - Oversee the development, customization, qualification, and maintenance of internal and foundry PDKs in collaboration with process teams and foundry partners. - Drive adoption of automation solutions, data analytics, CI/CD validation frameworks, and AI/ML workflows to improve engineering productivity. - Manage strategic vendor relationships and negotiate enterprise licensing and support agreements with Cadence, Synopsys, Siemens EDA, Ansys, and ecosystem partners. - Direct global teams of CAD, EDA, PDK, and automation engineers while managing multi-million-dollar annual software and compute budgets.
What you'll need
- 15+ years of hands-on semiconductor design enablement experience across CAD, EDA, PDK, and design automation. - 10+ years of leadership experience managing global engineering organizations. - Proven track record leading worldwide CAD, methodology, infrastructure, or design enablement teams. - Demonstrated success managing multi-million-dollar EDA budgets and licensing agreements. - Fluency in English (written and spoken).
