About the role
This role involves overseeing the performance and strategic development of manufacturing and office locations throughout Europe.
What you'll do
- Coordinate and develop project specifications, estimate cost and resources, and manage construction activity, schedules, and budgets.
- Maintain facilities footprint metrics for the full region according to corporate standards.
- Plan, budget, and schedule facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials, and other related costs.
- Identify opportunities for synergistic savings and optimize facilities space, investment, and utilities cost.
- Perform regular risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to ensure continuous, efficient operation of facilities.
- Lead real estate, construction, and facility initiatives, coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and business stakeholders.
What you'll need
- BS/BA degree in an engineering or construction-related field.
- 10+ years of experience in engineering or construction management.
- 5+ years of experience managing construction projects in a corporate setting.
- Knowledge of applicable safety and environmental regulations.
- Knowledge of cleanroom environments, tool installation and hookups.
- Proficiency with Work Order platforms and KPI reporting.
- Knowledge of BMS reporting and management solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with multiple contractors simultaneously, including scope development, equipment layout planning, RFP development, contractor selection, and construction management.
- General knowledge of EH&S methods and handling of hazardous and toxic substances.
