About the role
This role leads a multi-site team of software engineers focused on Java Card OS development and verification. You will drive talent development, performance management, and career growth for the team.
What you'll do
- Execute workforce strategy and contribute to its development.
- Manage multi-site teams, including 1:1s, stakeholder connections, and performance ownership.
- Develop team competency for present and future program requirements aligned with business strategy.
- Evaluate and manage suppliers and partners.
- Coordinate with internal teams for asset management and forecast/track travel costs.
What you'll need
- 15+ years of relevant experience in Java Card / Global Platform Product Development & Verification, preferably in smartcards, with several years in a People/Engineering Management role.
- B.Tech/BE/M.Tech/MS in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science/Instrumentation.
- Experience managing a team of 20+ team members.
- Experience working with functions (Quality, HR, etc.) across the organization.
- Experience with embedded system software development/validation in Java Card, preferably in product development.
- Working knowledge of various development tools used in embedded SW development.
