About the role
This leadership role involves leading GlobalFoundries' Field Application Engineering organization, supporting strategic customers in emerging markets.
What you'll do
- Build, develop, and lead a team of Field Application Engineers.
- Partner with Account Managers to identify, qualify, and advance new business opportunities.
- Lead the technical strategy behind design wins and major customer engagements.
- Lead customer engagements from initial evaluation through tapeout, production ramp, and lifecycle support.
- Develop trusted partnerships with engineering, architecture, product, operations, and executive leaders.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
- 15+ years of semiconductor industry experience.
- Experience leading customer-facing technical organizations.
- Deep understanding of semiconductor technologies, foundry ecosystems, design flows, and design-win processes.
- Proven success supporting strategic accounts.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and executive engagement skills.
