About the role
This role involves building and maintaining virtual models of data lab spaces, equipment, and infrastructure. You will help turn engineering information into accurate 3D scenes and reusable digital assets to support teams developing and testing advanced AI compute systems.
What you'll do
- Support virtual models of data lab spaces, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Turn engineering information into accurate 3D scenes and reusable digital assets.
- Create models, integrate facilities data, and check accuracy.
- Document your approach for digital twin creation.
- Compare digital twins with drawings, layouts, records, and physical environments.
What you'll need
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, integrated engineering, or a related field.
- Interest in applying engineering principles to digital representations of physical spaces, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Experience with, or interest in learning, 3D modeling, visualization, simulation, or digital twin technologies.
- Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings, layouts, diagrams, or technical documentation.
- Attention to accuracy, detail, file organization, and documentation.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to learn new software with guidance.
