Develop digital IP to be combined with analog technology for sensing IC solutions.

About the role

As a Digital IC Design Engineer, you will develop digital IP to be combined with analog technology to create sensing IC solutions. You will be responsible for the RTL implementation and full digital backend flow for various IC products for sensing applications like magnetic, inductive, and current.

What you'll do

  • Handle the complete digital design flow (frontend and backend).
  • Design logic circuits with System Verilog/Verilog for implementing FSMs, arithmetic for digital signal processing algorithms, communication interfaces, memory controllers, analog control for ADC’s, DAC’s and power management, and internal test mode features.
  • Develop HDL test benches and design models for Verification.
  • Perform all steps in backend flow: Synthesis, Place and Route, Post-Timing Analysis, ATPG.
  • Simulate behavior/RTL/gate level designs.
  • Design for testability using ad-hoc / Full scan / Memory BIST and generate functional and production test vector for performing Scan Testing.

What you'll need

  • Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field.
  • 2 years of relevant experience.
  • A thorough understanding of digital logic design.
  • Familiarity with the Verilog language and simulators.
  • A good understanding of analog functionality and exposure to analog IC design methods.
  • Ability to solve problems using a systematic approach.

Nice to have

  • Experience with System Verilog.
