About the role
Texas Instruments is seeking a Digital Design Engineer to architect and design digital circuits that interface with analog systems. The role involves working across communication protocols including CAN, LIN, 1394, and Ethernet for end-to-end system solutions.
What you'll do
- Define architecture and micro-architecture for complex digital systems. - Write and review RTL code, and drive designs through simulation, synthesis, and timing closure. - Develop test methods and specifications, and contribute to application notes and datasheets. - Assess and apply engineering techniques and methodologies to resolve technical challenges. - Manage and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks to deliver results with minimal supervision. - Work alongside analog and digital design engineers across project flows.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of relevant experience in digital circuit design. - Thorough understanding of digital logic design. - Familiarity with the Verilog language and simulators. - Understanding of analog functionality and exposure to analog IC design methods and analog-digital interfaces. - Experience with communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, 1394, and/or Ethernet. - Hands-on experience with RTL design, synthesis, and verification flows.
Nice to have
- Experience with System Verilog.
