About the role
This role is an internship on the Infrastructure Power team focused on digital design, verification, debug, and design automation scripts. The team develops digital power ICs.
What you'll do
- Develop, debug, and verify digital designs in pre- and post-silicon environments. - Write tests to verify digital designs. - Learn, develop, and improve scripts to facilitate design automation flows. - Document design requirements, architecture, and implementation. - Research and present new tools in aid of the design development process.
What you'll need
- Currently enrolled in a BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (EE/ECE), graduating September 2027 or later. - Comfort with debugging mixed-signal designs in SystemVerilog-based testbenches. - Proficiency in a scripting language such as Python or Perl. - Debug methodology skills for digital designs.
Nice to have
- Working experience with Cadence or Synopsys design tools such as SimVision or Verdi. - Knowledge of ARM Cortex M-series processors and computer architecture. - Academic experience with serial interfaces. - Exposure to mixed-signal designs with an academic understanding of basic analog circuits. - Prior industry employment or internship experience in a relevant subject.
