About the role
This role is for a Diffusion technician focusing on semiconductor manufacturing in Austin. You will support toolsets including TEL 8SE, 8SEI, AVP, Wafer Mark Laser Scribe, Gemini and Comet MTU, and LPCVD equipment.
What you'll do
- Support and learn additional toolsets.
- Read schematics and troubleshoot to board level repairs.
- Work with He leak detectors, RF calibration gear, oscilloscopes, and multimeters.
- Understand vacuum systems, gas control systems, and high-pressure systems.
- Apply knowledge of electrical and electronics theory.
What you'll need
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Experience on multiple chamber types on equipment such as TEL 8SE, 8SEI, AVP, Wafer Mark Laser Scribe, Gemini and Comet MTU, and LPCVD.
- Completion of a two-year degree (Associate's degree) OR Technical Certification from an accredited institution OR 2 of 4 years completed towards a Bachelor's degree OR Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts non-technical degree and 2+ years area technical experience OR 5+ years of area technical experience OR Military Technical School and 3+ years of area technical experience.
