About the role
This role involves evaluating, installing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment to support the production of company products, specifically within the DMOS6 process.
What you'll do
- Evaluate, select, and order appropriate and cost-effective manufacturing equipment.
- Oversee the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
- Establish programs and solutions for increasing uptime and resolving equipment problems affecting manufacturing.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations.
- Define and write preventative maintenance schedules.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics or related engineering degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment as an Equipment Engineer.
Nice to have
- Equipment experience with AMAT PVD and/or AMAT TxZ chambers.
- Prior experience with PVD, CVD, high vacuum and/or ultra high vacuum.
- Equipment experience on other equipment (e.g., AMAT, Veeco, TEL, Novellus, and/or ASM).
- Experience on tool monitoring and interdiction software, and equipment maintenance and documentation.
- Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, and SPC techniques.
- Experienced with semiconductor cleanroom protocol and behaviors.
