About the role
This role involves working with the existing sampling scope codebase build & release process, focusing on software quality practices and package deployment methods. You will contribute to bringing the sampling scope codebase into European Union Cyber Resilience Act (EU CRA) compliance.
What you'll do
- Learn and run the existing sampling scope codebase build & release process, maintaining the current build environment and responding to SW security changes.
- Analyze and propose targeted transitions toward a new DevOps build/release toolchain to improve SW productivity, stability, and security.
- Bring sampling scope codebase into European Union Cyber Resilience Act (EU CRA) compliance, working with the codebase team to maintain secure SW development and deployment practices.
- Organize the triage and track resolution of SAST scan and threat modeling analysis discovered issues.
- Learn and improve the existing sampling scope software QA process, focusing on development and implementation of improved automated test coverage.
- Analyze current automated QA coverage, identify gaps, and implement automated processes, test scripts, and codebase code to create coverage.
What you'll need
- Significant software development knowledge with a focus on software quality practices and package deployment methods.
- 2-4 years of related QA/SW toolchain/SW security experience.
- Hands-on experience with software build and release processes.
- Demonstrated success in leading software development projects with skill in backlog management, sprint planning, and progress tracking.
- Knowledge of SW quality practices.
- Strong problem-solving and quantitative data analysis skills.
Nice to have
- Competence in developing test SW.
- Knowledge of C#.
- Working knowledge of DevOps toolchains and software build/release deployment.
- Experience participating in or leading DevOps toolchain migration or modernization efforts.
- Knowledge of SW development environments, particularly Visual Studio ecosystem.
