About the role
This role involves planning, designing, optimizing, verifying, and testing highly critical electronic systems, circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment, and packaging. It focuses on bringing up yield and developing test systems, FPGA, and DSP systems.
What you'll do
- Plan, optimize, verify, and test highly critical electronic systems, bring-up yield, circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems.
- Participate in or lead the implementation of advanced design rules and processes for electronic hardware, equipment, and/or integrated circuitry.
- Conduct complex simulations and analyses of designs and implement designs with optimal power, performance, and area.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new requirements and incorporate the latest test solutions to improve yield, test time, and quality.
- Evaluate, characterize, and develop novel manufacturing solutions for products in advanced processes and bring-up product to meet customer expectations.
- Advise and lead engineers in the development of complex hardware designs, evaluating various design features to identify potential flaws or issues.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field and 6+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience OR Master's degree and 5+ years OR PhD and 4+ years.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 12 years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
- 3 years of experience with circuit/logic design/validation (e.g., digital, analog, RF).
- 3 years of experience utilizing schematic capture and circuit stimulation software.
- 3 years of experience with hardware design and measurement instruments such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF tools.
- 1 year in a technical leadership role.
