About the role
This role is for a Design Engineering Intern focused on RF Design Engineering, specifically within the Advanced Cellular business group.
What you'll do
- Design BAW/SAW Acoustic Filter components for wireless RF Applications.
- Contribute to laminate integration of filter components into RFFE Modules.
- Run circuit and electromagnetic (EM) Simulations using commercial and internally developed tools.
- Understand and meet product specification requirements for RF performance, costs, and schedule.
- Work with the Characterization Team to evaluate and diagnose RF components.
- Document and present results.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a MS in Electrical Engineering with focus on RF & Microwaves.
- Analog/RF circuit design coursework and/or experience.
- Software Exposure: ADS, AWR, FEM, HFSS, Momentum, Cadence, Dynamic Link.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Effective organization skills for systematic planning and scheduling.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey technical information.
Nice to have
- Exposure to RF measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.
