About the role
This role focuses on improving yield and quality through defect analysis and process optimization in manufacturing processes. The position involves data analysis and the utilization of AI technologies for defect detection and process abnormality response.
What you'll do
- Beat department KPI goals to contribute to factory KPI goals achievement.
- Deliver section commitments to gain stakeholders' loyalty.
- Report project and/or task progress to stakeholders regularly.
- Develop the organization and talent to enhance the DEFECT engineering team's capabilities.
- Support factory strategy development for future growth and propose to stakeholders.
- Manage various projects such as capacity expansion, new technology development, and line yield improvement.
What you'll need
- Over 10 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, specifically in DEFECT engineering.
- Experience in improving business operations using AI technologies.
- Business English skill (TOEIC 500).
- LPL Level 2.
- University degree or above.
- Valid work authorization that permits employment in Japan.
Nice to have
- Experience at a foreign company.
- Leadership skills.
- Japanese language proficiency (equivalent to JLPT N2 level or above).
- Experience in driving process optimization and business improvement using AI technologies.
