About the role
As a DCIM Semiconductor Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will sustain and improve wafer fab equipment for existing and new processes within Broadcom's Wireless Semiconductor Division (WSD).
What you'll do
- Resolve complex assignments requiring judgment and technical knowledge.
- Complete established procedures precisely and efficiently with strict adherence to documented processes.
- Troubleshoot problems using analytical skills and data-driven solutions.
- Determine and document methods and procedures for new platforms.
- Maintain overall equipment availability, MTTR, and MTBF.
- Complete all appropriate maintenance work order entries and planned maintenance tasks on time.
What you'll need
- Associate of Science degree or higher in Electronics Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Science, or Electro-Mechanical Technology, or equivalent military training.
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrical, mechanical, RF, plasma, microwave, hydraulic, and vacuum technologies.
- Authorization to work within the U.S.
- Ability to work night shifts (12-hour shifts, 6:00 pm - 6:00 am, rotating 3 and 4 nights per week).
Nice to have
- Classroom coursework or training in RF, plasma chemistry, electronics, physics, mechanical engineering, mechanical actuation and control, or machine control systems.
