About the role
This is an experienced and hands-on Data Warehouse developer position responsible for the research, analysis, design, and development of solutions per business requirements. The role focuses on developing ETL logic, validation scripts, security controls, and deploying solutions in production.
What you'll do
- Design and develop data models, relational database structures, and multidimensional database structures to store and retrieve information. - Create and optimize ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources while ensuring consistency and quality. - Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF). - Write SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to extract, manipulate, and analyze data. - Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and performance optimization techniques. - Develop reports and dashboards based on data warehouse data and troubleshoot data warehouse-related issues.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience. - 7+ years of experience in the DW/BI space designing models and building analytics, including execution of at least two end-to-end implementations. - At least 2 years of experience working with Azure SQL and Azure Data Factory (ADF). - Strong knowledge of SQL syntax, database design principles, and relational database systems such as SQL Server or Oracle. - Proficiency in Infor Omni-Channel Campaign Management - Enterprise Marketing Suite, including creating jobs, ETL processes in Infor Admin, and report creation. - Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes, along with data analysis principles and reporting techniques.
Nice to have
- Understanding of IBM WAS (Web Application server) including node agents, manager, and applications. - Knowledge of Python, Pentaho, or shell scripting. - Functional knowledge of business processes such as quote to cash, clickstream analysis, revenue, booking, and billing.
