About the role

As a Data Center Test Solutions Architect, you partner closely with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to shape how boards are validated, influence decisions that improve product robustness, and streamline bringing complex hardware to market. You will lead new product introduction and associated processes for the launch of new hardware platforms into data centers globally.

What you'll do

- Collaborate with hardware design teams to integrate DFT (design for test) features early and ensure board-level testability. - Analyze test coverage metrics, identify improvement areas, and implement strategies to increase coverage and reduce escapes. - Create and maintain test documentation including test plans, procedures, and reports, while tracking metrics such as coverage, yield, and failure rates. - Lead new product introduction and associated processes for the launch of new hardware platforms into data centers globally. - Lead architecture reviews with hardware engineering teams to analyze and develop diagnostic coverage plans for both hardware and software. - Lead hardware reviews and drive system design for serviceability requirements to ensure form, fit, and function for new hardware development in existing data center architecture. - Lead the development and execution of Data Center readiness tooling validation testing based on tooling development plans. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, development partners, and ODM/OEM vendors to define product specifications, development plans, test plans, and implementation milestones.

What you'll need

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - Experience with hardware integration, DFT features, and board-level testability. - Experience leading new product introduction processes for hardware platforms. - Experience analyzing test coverage metrics and developing diagnostic coverage plans for hardware and software. - Experience defining product specifications, development plans, and test plans with ODM/OEM vendors.

Nice to have

- Demonstrated ability to analyze and improve test coverage and troubleshoot complex board-level failures. - Proficiency in scripting (Python, Perl) to automate test flows and enhance efficiency. - Familiarity with IPC standards, PCB manufacturing practices, and failure-analysis techniques. - Solid grasp of low-level system architecture, digital circuit design, and high-speed bus protocols (PCIe, USB, NVMe), with an understanding of how hardware integrates with firmware and software stacks.
