About the role
This role involves performing routine to moderately complex electro-mechanical technical functions and activities, including design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly. This position may also involve performing new system and NPI installations and field upgrades on AMAT platforms.
What you'll do
- Perform routine to moderately complex electro-mechanical technical functions and activities.
- Test and troubleshoot system level and component level problems in electrical and mechanical systems and sub-systems.
- Perform new system and NPI installations and field upgrades.
- Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or plans to perform routine testing and troubleshooting.
- Compile logbooks and test procedures documentation.
- Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic & vacuum, and process testing on AMAT platforms.
What you'll need
- Developed analytical skills and application of scientific methods.
- Ability to perform a variety of activities without supervisory approval.
- Ability to recognize and solve typical problems in own work area.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to distinguish between colors.
- Capability to work in a clean room environment using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
Nice to have
- Good understanding of how the team integrates with others.
- Good communication skills to exchange information.
