About the role
As an Equipment Engineer, you will evaluate, select, and order manufacturing equipment, and oversee its installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance for DMOS6.
What you'll do
- Evaluate, select, and order equipment most appropriate and cost-effective for manufacturing company products
- Oversee the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
- Keep current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues
- Study equipment performance and reliability
- Establish programs and solutions for increasing uptime and addressing equipment problems affecting the manufacturing process
- Provide technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations
- Define and write preventative maintenance schedules
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics, or related engineering degree
- 2 years of relevant experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment as an Equipment Engineer within CVD or PVD
Nice to have
- Equipment experience with AMAT PVD and/or AMAT CVD chambers
- Prior experience with PVD, CVD, high vacuum and/or ultra high vacuum
- Equipment experience on other equipment (AMAT, ULVAC, Novellus, and/or ASM)
- Experience on tool monitoring and interdiction software, and equipment maintenance and documentation
- Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and SPC techniques
- Experienced with semiconductor cleanroom protocol and behaviors
