About the role
As a Customer Technology Manager, you will contribute to the growth of the Aether Engineering team, focusing on semiconductor capital equipment and systems.
What you'll do
- Perform process engineering research, development, and evaluation for semiconductor capital equipment.
- Review processing techniques and methods for product manufacturing, fabrication, and evaluation.
- Plan projects involving new concepts and approaches in process development.
- Support customer technology managers in planning, data collection, analysis, and reporting of customer demos.
- Drive the adoption of new technology at customer sites through demonstrations and new tool qualifications.
- Work with customers and senior engineers to understand roadmaps, process flow, and inflection points.
What you'll need
- Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Physics with 5 years of relevant work; or M.S. with 8+ years of relevant work experience; or B.S. with 12+ years of work experience.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with working in a chemical laboratory.
- Experience in surface preparation and analytical techniques.
- In-depth understanding and working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE).
