About the role
This role is responsible for customer service activities associated with updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing complex capital equipment at customer sites and trade shows.
What you'll do
- Evaluate, analyze, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment problems at customer facilities or via telephone to enhance customer production. - Diagnose and resolve system-level problems lacking standard procedures using technical knowledge and training. - Assess customer process issues such as chemical leaks or contamination and recommend shutdowns under unsafe conditions. - Prepare field service reports, document re-occurring problems, and assist regional administration in preparing customer quotes for parts, labor, and travel. - Provide technical guidance to Installation Engineers during tool installations or demonstration machine setup and dismantling. - Travel by car or commercial transportation to customer facilities to deliver support.
