About the role
This role involves overseeing customer quality for new product introduction, die and package qualification methods, and customer specific quality requirements. The position will cover IC or Optics products from one or more product lines.
What you'll do
- Serve as the primary customer-facing contact for quality and reliability.
- Manage customer quality requirements and develop customer relationships.
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve best-in-class quality with customers.
- Drive customer-related quality communications and problem-solving activities (8D).
- Ensure customer requirements are integrated into Marvell's Quality Management System (QMS).
- Acknowledge and drive closure of all quality-related issues, RMAs, and customer requests.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields and 3+ years of professional experience, or Master’s/PhD with 2+ years of experience.
- 2+ years of Semiconductor / Optics industry experience.
- 1+ years in a customer-facing technical engineering role in Quality.
- Working knowledge of semiconductor fabrication and packaging technologies, device physics, quality and reliability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, with advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% as needed (domestic and international).
Nice to have
- Technical knowledge of wafer process, assembly processes, manufacturing and reliability qualification experience.
- Technical knowledge of optics process, assembly processes, manufacturing and reliability qualification experience.
- Experience in quality and reliability, particularly in semiconductor or optics industry, Failure Analysis and manufacturing/reliability-related issues.
