About the role
This role involves supporting and enhancing customer quality performance for CMP Pad products, serving as the primary customer quality interface.
What you'll do
- Act as the primary quality representative for customers using CMP Pad products.
- Manage customer quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Lead customer communications regarding product quality, reliability, and technical performance.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve customer concerns.
- Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives based on customer feedback and quality metrics.
- Support customer audits, quality reviews, and technical meetings.
- Review and analyze quality data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Prepare and present quality reports, 8D reports, and customer-facing quality documentation.
- Participate in NPI activities to ensure quality requirements are implemented and validated.
- Monitor customer quality KPIs and develop action plans to improve customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality systems, industry standards, and customer-specific requirements.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Customer Quality, or Product Engineering within the semiconductor industry.
- Experience handling customer quality issues and leading problem-solving activities.
- Strong knowledge of quality methodologies such as 8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA, CAPA, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Business-level English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience working with cross-functional and international teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with CMP (Chemical Mechanical Planarization) processes, CMP consumables, or semiconductor materials.
- Knowledge of wafer fabrication processes and semiconductor manufacturing environments.
- Experience supporting global semiconductor customers.
- Certification in quality-related disciplines (CQE, Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt).
- Familiarity with customer audit processes and quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
