About the role
This role serves as the primary quality interface for customers on ASIC products, managing customer quality issues and leading Return Material Authorization (RMA) investigations.
What you'll do
- Act as the primary quality contact for customers on ASIC product quality matters.
- Own the end-to-end RMA process for returned ASIC devices.
- Lead investigations to determine root cause of customer-reported failures.
- Facilitate cross-functional root-cause investigations involving Design Engineering, Verification Engineering, Validation Engineering, Product Engineering, Test Engineering, Package Engineering, and Manufacturing Operations.
- Monitor and report customer quality KPIs including RMA rates, failure analysis turnaround time, and customer-reported defect trends.
- Partner with foundries, OSATs, test houses, and manufacturing teams during quality investigations.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in semiconductor quality, product engineering, customer quality, reliability, failure analysis, or manufacturing engineering.
- Strong understanding of ASIC product development and manufacturing processes.
- Experience managing customer escalations and quality-related issues.
- Knowledge of semiconductor failure analysis techniques and methodologies.
- Experience leading root-cause analysis and corrective action activities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with customer-facing experience.
