About the role
This role involves serving as a principal applications engineer with deep semiconductor expertise, focusing on bridging technical depth with customer needs across IP integration, silicon bring-up, debug, and methodology challenges.
What you'll do
- Serve as a senior customer-facing technical leader for strategic accounts, guiding discussions across IP adoption, integration, silicon bring-up, and ongoing product use.
- Partner across R&D, Verification, Methodology, Quality, Program Management, and Application Engineering to identify technical risks and improve release readiness.
- Translate customer feedback, bring-up findings, and debug issues into cross-functional action plans to address root causes and close methodology gaps.
- Drive proactive problem-solving, metrics, and continuous-improvement practices that reduce escalations and improve signoff confidence.
What you'll need
- BSEE, BSCE, MSEE, MSCE, or an advanced degree, plus 10+ years of experience in semiconductor design, verification, methodology, quality, or applications engineering.
- Expertise in analog and mixed-signal or digital IP development, verification, integration, and signoff, operating across multiple engineering domains.
- For digital candidates, experience in RTL quality, lint, CDC, RDC, low-power verification, UPF, X-propagation, formal verification, coverage closure, gate-level simulation, and verification signoff.
- For analog or mixed-signal candidates, experience in design and verification methodologies, behavioral modeling, integration, signoff, silicon bring-up, and post-silicon debug.
- Proven ability to lead customer-facing technical engagements, assess risk, influence cross-functional teams, and drive practical improvements using tools and platforms such as Microsoft Project, Confluence, and Jira.
