About the role
In this mid-level manager role, you will lead a team of customer engineers and serve as the customer-facing representative for semiconductor equipment operations and support.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain customer relationships, address technical inquiries, conduct regular visits, lead customer meetings, and deliver documentation and reports.
- Coach and direct a team of customer engineers, overseeing daily schedules, workloads, career planning, salary reviews, corrective actions, and mentor programs.
- Manage operational excellence initiatives and oversee managers, including technical program managers, as needed.
- Serve as the prime interface with Product Divisions across technical support, training, spares, and reliability, collaborating with Service and Sales to develop customer-specific solutions.
- Lead account planning and cost efficiency initiatives in coordination with the District Sales Engineer.
- Oversee system installation planning, reporting, execution, pre-facility meetings, start-up meetings, and process support identification.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 4–7 years of work experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Understanding of Applied Materials global Standards of Business Conduct.
- Experience supervising day-to-day work, coaching, and developing technical personnel.
- Ability to use tact and diplomacy to communicate technical information and resolve sensitive issues.
- Valid driver’s license and passport, with readiness to travel up to 20% and work on rotation and shifts as needed.

- MBA degree.
- Metrology/PDC knowledge.
- DDP knowledge.
- FSO experience.
