About the role
This role involves providing metrology product application support to customers, focusing on wafer characterization and problem diagnosis. You will help chip manufacturers meet high-quality standards for various technologies through KLA's inspection, metrology, and analytics systems.
What you'll do
- Provide metrology product application support both onsite and remotely.
- Create film/OCD structure models by spectra analyzing to meet customer production requirements.
- Perform routine problem diagnosis and problem resolution for wafer characterization at customer sites.
- Provide product theory and operational training to customers.
- Document technical solutions and create best known methods (BKMs) on supported products.
- Lead preparation and demonstration of products to the customer base.
What you'll need
- PhD/MS or equivalent in engineering applications.
- Proficient in computer applications for data presentation and analysis.
- Good working knowledge of customer processing knowledge.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic customer issues.
- Strong communication skills, especially technical writing skills.
- Proficient in the English language.
Nice to have
- IC Fab process development experience.
- Knowledge in defect detection, metrology, process control, and yield management.
