About the role
This role provides technical expertise, product demonstrations, and field customer support for semiconductor wafer inspection solutions. Working within the Customer Engagement division, you will support product penetration, characterization, and yield improvement across customer facilities.
What you'll do
- Provide customer support and lead product penetration, adoption support, product demonstrations, and head-to-head activities at customer facilities. - Investigate semiconductor manufacturing yield issues and deliver inspection solutions to meet customer requirements. - Support new product introductions, tool characterization, beta testing, and early evaluation tools. - Generate best known method documents, application notes, and training materials, transferring technical knowledge to customers and internal applications teams. - Create test plans, collect data, perform analysis, and present product value statements to engineering, marketing, and sales groups. - Partner with sales teams to assess customer applications, prepare product specifications, and build mini-applications or rapid prototypes to demonstrate feasibility.
What you'll need
- Master's degree with 0 years of related work experience, or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field with at least 2 years of related work experience. - Formal training or educational background in semiconductor manufacturing or related fields. - Demonstrated troubleshooting and analytical skills applied to hardware, equipment, or technical customer challenges. - Willingness to travel greater than 30% within the United States to support products at customer sites.
