What you'll do

  • Drive project initiatives to enable high-volume manufacturing of 200mm SiC.
  • Define, qualify, and transition processes from research through development and production with the R&D team.
  • Own investigation, troubleshooting, and improvement of equipment impact on safety, quality, and cost of SiC substrate production processes.
  • Define control parameters and develop/maintain monitoring systems to detect and act upon process variations.
  • Define and refine methods to increase process repeatability and control to achieve higher yields, lower costs, and lower variation.
  • Provide data analysis and understanding of SiC manufacturing using databases and data analysis tools.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Materials Science.
  • 2 years Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment troubleshooting equipment, material, or process impact on product quality and yield.
