This role involves building solutions for critical gaps across Etched, focusing on projects that deliver immediate impact. You will contribute to internal tools, prototype manufacturing execution systems, or design and deploy agentic systems for R&D problems.
What you'll do
- Build internal tools to unblock a hardware team.
- Prototype systems for manufacturing execution.
- Design, evaluate, and deploy agentic systems for challenging R&D problems.
- Ship 0-1 production-level code weekly.
- Own a real project scoped to land in production.
What you'll need
- Exceptional full-stack engineering capabilities.
- Proficiency with Python and TypeScript, including reading, modifying, debugging, and directing AI to write code.
- Product sense.
- Bias towards action and comfort with incomplete information.
- Track record of solving hard problems across stacks and domains.
