This role involves advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work within control systems engineering. The focus is on designing complex PLC logic, intuitive HMI solutions, and PID control loops for automated systems.
What you'll do
- Lead and evolve global electrical engineering standards, specifications, and design guidelines.
- Review electrical designs for capital projects, infrastructure upgrades, and critical facility improvements.
- Guide technical strategy for power distribution, UPS, generators, and transfer systems.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve resiliency, operational readiness, and long-term facility performance.
- Support renewable energy and electrification initiatives, including solar, battery storage, and EV charging.
- Translate technical requirements into clear standards, design guidance, and executive-ready summaries.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
- Basic electrical circuit design with design tools such as OrCAD, AutoCAD, or PSpice.
- PLC programming design experience with Siemens, Allen Bradley, or OMRON.
- Experience with MATLAB, Python, or similar analysis tools.
- Related work experience of 5 years with a Bachelor's Degree, or 3 years with a Master's Degree, or 0 years with a Doctorate.
Nice to have
- In-depth expertise in PLC programming across platforms such as Allen-Bradley and Siemens.
- Familiarity with FPGA technology, microcontrollers (such as ARM or AVR), or DSPs.
- Project management experience.
