About the role
This role involves operating manufacturing tools and processing wafers within a self-directed work team environment.
What you'll do
- Load wafers into production equipment and verify product specifications.
- Monitor equipment operation and process pace/productivity.
- Make minor corrections or adjustments to processes and equipment.
- Utilize computer systems like Workstream and Cold Fusion for communication, data recording, and report extraction.
- Perform multi-functional wafer fabrication processes and equipment operations.
- Maintain and monitor cleanroom protocols.
What you'll need
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal).
- Ability to work a 12-hour shift in a clean-room environment.
- Must be able to lift to 25 pounds and frequently move it over extended distances.
- Ability to push/pull typically about 100 lbs., but up to 500 lbs. via rolling cart or rolling wire rack.
- Must have sufficient hand manipulation and ability to grasp wafer pod frequently during shift.
- Ability to work with a variety of chemicals and gases.
Nice to have
- Basic equipment trouble shooting and preventive maintenance experience.
- Experience with changes or refills of chemicals in the work area.
- Experience in training new employees or lesser skilled employees.
- Cross-training in multiple work areas of production.
