About the role
This role involves supporting a multi-million-line product, an engineering team of hundreds of engineers, and managing a build/test infrastructure spanning thousands of lines of infrastructure code, thousands of machines, and millions of tests.
What you'll do
- Manage a build/test infrastructure.
- Support an engineering team of hundreds of engineers.
- Manage SCM processes.
- Develop and maintain scripts using Shells/Python/Perl.
What you'll need
- Working experience in Configuration Management of large projects (large code and test bases, multi-sited, hundreds of users).
- Exposure to one or more of Perforce/git/Mercurial/CVS/RCS/ClearCase as an admin.
- Expertise on build tools.
- Expertise on SCM processes.
- Scripting skills at the level of an expert using one or more of Shells/Python/Perl.
- UNIX expertise as a user and preferably as an admin.
- BTech / M. Tech MCA in CS or IT.
