About the role
This role involves developing, deploying, and maintaining AI-enabled environments, tools, and workflows for HSV Software engineering teams, focusing on the Palladium emulation platform and Protium prototyping platforms.
What you'll do
- Develop, deploy, and maintain AI-enabled tools, environments, and workflows for HSV Software engineering teams.
- Build internal utilities, automation scripts, and services to facilitate access to AI capabilities.
- Integrate AI solutions with existing engineering infrastructure, development environments, and internal knowledge sources.
- Support evaluation systems for AI-enabled products and workflows, including benchmarks, test datasets, quality metrics, and regression checks.
- Apply LLM and agent concepts to enable assisted workflows such as knowledge retrieval, task automation, and workflow orchestration.
- Implement guardrails, monitoring, access controls, and human-review mechanisms for AI-assisted engineering workflows.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of software development experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Python.
- Experience developing internal tools, automation, services, or engineering productivity solutions.
- Understanding of LLM concepts, AI agents, prompt engineering, tool calling, and RAG-based workflows.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and support engineering users.
Nice to have
- Experience integrating AI tools with CI/CD systems, enterprise platforms, internal knowledge bases, or access-control systems.
- Familiarity with AI evaluation, benchmarking, model-quality measurement, or metrics-driven product improvement.
- Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, or AI-based knowledge retrieval systems.
- Familiarity with orchestration tools such as LangChain, CrewAI, LangGraph, AutoGen, or similar agent frameworks.
- Experience with other programming languages like C++ or TCL.
- Knowledge of EDA, VLSI design, design verification, emulation, prototyping, Palladium, or Protium workflows.
