About the role
This internship focuses on enhancing a wafer map verification solution within the Metrology and Machine Control department. Your work will support engineers in analyzing measurement quality and validating system behavior in ASML’s lithography systems.
What you'll do
- Design and implement enhancements to an existing wafer map verification application.
- Develop user-friendly software features that improve workflow efficiency.
- Extend configuration and execution options within the application.
- Support software validation and verification activities.
- Collaborate with domain experts to define requirements and evaluate solutions.
- Test, document, and validate implemented functionality.
What you'll need
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience with software development practices.
- Analytical ability to work independently on complex technical challenges.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with C++.
- Experience with automated testing.
- Experience developing graphical user interfaces.
- Exposure to software verification and validation activities.
