About the role
This role supports Snapdragon™-based products for a fabless semiconductor company, enabling product launches by working with customers and internal design teams.
What you'll do
- Provide hardware design support to customers to enable efficient product launches.
- Research and answer technical questions on Qualcomm SoCs and associated memory, peripherals, and IOs (e.g., LPDDR, UFS, USB, PCIe, CSI, DSI, DP, Ethernet).
- Resolve technical problems via hands-on troubleshooting.
- Perform block diagram, schematic, parts placement, and PCB routing reviews on customer platforms, including DDR, Power Delivery Network, and Signal Integrity simulations.
- Create and contribute to customer-facing hardware design examples.
- Create and maintain hardware documentation and design collateral.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Familiarity with principals of high-speed PCB design, including transmission lines, PCB stack-up, controlled impedance, EMI/EMC, and PDN.
- Familiarity with SoC interfaces such as LPDDR, MIPI, USB, PCIe, UFS.
Nice to have
- Master's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 2 years of Hardware Design or Hardware Applications experience or related work experience.
- Experience with Programming Languages such as Python and/or Vbasic.
- Experience in finding the root cause of hardware system issues.
- Experience in integration, debug, and problem reproduction on internal and customer platforms.
- Experience in Python programming.
